Since 1998, Tariq has been working in Corporate America as an IVR System Analyst. Currently he is also pursuing double Masters, MS in Telecommunications Systems and MBA at DePaul University.

He grew up in Karachi and finished high school from St.Patrick's High School. Later moved to Brunei with his family, went to an American College in Malaysia and finally moved to the States in 1996 to Western Michigan University, where he graduated in 1998 with a Bachalors Degree in CIS.

While building a career he relocated to Chicago in 2002. In Chicago, he started engaging himself into the music circle of Chi-town (Chicago).   Bumping into his extremely talented band-mates, Tariq was inspired by them to pursue music seriously.   Thus, the band ‘Dhoop' was formed which is now TARZZ.

He likes all kind of music from Mehdi Hasan & NFAK to Nirvana, Coldplay & Red-Hot-Chilli-Peppers, depending on his mood. His inspirations are Dave Mathews Band, Cold Play and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Tariq handles the business, marketing and management aspects of the band.
